Opossums are marsupials from Planet Earth and Elhorn. Not to be confused with possums, they are still characterised by their ability to "play dead", causing their predators to lose interest in them.
The opossum species makes up the majority of the cast in the Sparkster series. Zebulos City is an entirely opossum-filled location until it is taken over by King Gedol. The lizard attempts to marry Princess Shelly, the opossum leader, until he is foiled by Sparkster, the last of the opossum Rocket Knights.
